Building on from their beautiful Sydney Showroom, global luxury rug maker Armadillo & Co engaged Studio Goss to design their new Melbourne Showroom. Selected for both the Sydney and Melbourne Showrooms, Havwoods Aspen Raw timber flooring delivers warm, natural tones that complement the material palette of concrete, tiles and matte black accents and beautifully showcase the sustainable, handcrafted rugs.
Australian-born Luxury rug maker Armadillo & Co engaged designers Studio Goss to deliver their newest Australian showroom in Melbourne, through the conversion of a beautiful red-brick heritage listed Fitzroy warehouse.
The Melbourne showroom design stays true to the brands identity, keeping consistent with the material palette chosen for their Sydney Showroom, also designed by Studio Goss in 2019.
A stunning combination of tiles, concrete and timber flooring surfaces pair beautifully with matte black accents and the luxurious textures and shades of the handcrafted rugs themselves, showcased in a gallery-like open space design.
Staying consistent with the Sydney showroom, Havwoods Aspen Raw timber flooring was selected for application as wall cladding throughout the space, providing warm, natural tones that complement the pale grey concrete and the tactile textures of the Armadillo handcrafted rugs.
