Crosbie Projects is an award-winning Sydney based construction and project management company who wanted their new head office to showcase the meticulous detail that is their hallmark, be a relaxed and comfortable place to work and “bring the outdoors in by using rustic and natural materials”. Giant Design responded with a concept which included an imposing three-story atrium using polished concrete, polished black stucco, three-colour aged plaster and wood, punctuated by fully grown trees and a collection of live reptiles!

Indeed, the extensive use of timber planks throughout the building ties everything together, and Havwoods were the supplier of choice since both companies had worked with us on several previous projects. Havwoods Venture Plank Quadro was selected for the ceilings, floors and stairs, and Havwoods Reclaimed Barn Oak timber planks make features of selected walls and joinery items, including the doors and some of the seating.
