This Darling Point apartment was transformed into a timeless, classic space that works for all seasons. The designer, Alex Morrison Interiors, flipped the original floorpan so that the primary living spaces could take full advantage of the beautiful Darling Point harbour views year round but also allowed for a cosy fireplace setting in the cooler months.
When interior designer, Alex, from Alex Morrison Interiors, first saw the apartment, she was completely captivated with the location and the potential the space offered. Tucked away in a harbour-side cul-de-sac in Sydney's Darling Point was a wonderful apartment that was crying out for change.

This meant flipping the floor plan so that the kitchen and living areas could enjoy the spectacular views year round and allow for better natural light to reflect off the bay and into the space.
Ryde Herringbone from the Havwoods V Collection was selected for this project due to its lighter tone which helped create a more open feel and the striking pattern which added a beautiful layer of detail.

The herringbone floors became a feature of the space. The warm light tones of the boards softened the space allowing it to feel effortlessly luxurious.
