When design firm Morris Selvatico took on the TAP Espresso project, they faced the challenge of injecting a rustic feel into the space, whilst providing a refreshing take on the typical industrial café design aesthetic.

Located in the prestigious foyer of 50 Martin Place, Sydney, TAP Espresso & Salad Bar provides a fresh juxtaposition to its clean-cut surrounds.
Exposed aggregate polished concrete, raw brick, rust tiles and brass signage form the palette chosen for the café design. To complement this, Morris Selvatico selected a combination of Havwoods Oak Chalet White Midi and Oak Legacy White (special order) engineered timber flooring products, both from the Europlank Collection. The smooth, finished European Oak timber was laid on an angle to add 'edginess' to the overall look, while white gloss tiles highlight the main bar area.
