How we’re keeping our engineered timber flooring showrooms COVID-safe

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses around Australia, and the world, are rapidly evolving to meet requirements for COVID-safe operation. Havwoods is no different, and we’ve drafted up our own COVID-safe plan to ensure the safety of customers and staff at our flooring showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne and Newcastle.
Here we’ll take you through the measures we’ve implemented for a COVID-safe operation, as well as how the showroom experience is evolving to meet the needs of the current climate.
OUR PHYSICAL SHOWROOMS ARE OPEN
As the state governments across Australia further lift restrictions, many businesses are opening up after a period of hibernation. We never closed, but began welcoming visitors to our showrooms by appointment only.
We remain open to the public, with COVID-safe measures in place to ensure a safe environment for all.
NEW HEALTH GUIDELINES FOR VISITORS TO OUR SHOWROOMS
We’ve drafted the following health guidelines that must be followed by all visitors to a Havwoods showroom:
- No physical contact with staff
- All guests are to use provided hand sanitiser at the start of the appointment
- Bathrooms are available for hand washing
- If you are unwell, please do not book an in-person appointment or if you have already booked, please call us on 1300 428 966 to reschedule or change your appointment to a virtual appointment.
We know that for many tradespersons, designers and consumers, the project must go on, even when ill. If you are feeling unwell, we ask that for the safety of all, you do not book an appointment to visit us at the showroom. Instead we invite you to book a virtual consultation, where one of our staff will be delighted to help you find the flooring or cladding product to meet your project specifications, from the comfort and safety of your own home or office.
WE’VE LAUNCHED A NEW VIRTUAL FLOORING SHOWROOM ONLINE
That’s right! Given the unpredictable and rapidly changing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched a new virtual showroom, so you can visit us online!
We understand that you may not be ready to venture out and visit us at our showroom premises, but that doesn’t mean your project should ground to a halt. No! Our virtual showroom appointments will ensure you’re able to acquire the flooring and cladding products you need to meet your project deadlines.
WE UNDERSTAND YOUR DAY-TO-DAY IS CHANGING, CHANGE YOUR SPACE FOR THE BETTER
At Havwoods, we understand that in the midst of the pandemic your day-to-day is changing. That doesn’t mean you can’t create a space in your home or business that you can truly enjoy.
