In the design world, Nandos is as famous for creating spectacular spaces as it is for its Peri-Peri chicken. Indeed in 2014, the year Lakeside opened, no fewer than six of this casual dining chains new outlets were shortlisted in the year’s Restaurant and Bar Design Awards. And, of these, half were designed by MorenoMasey. In this shopping centre food court site the biggest challenge was taking a featureless box and turning it into something unique, courtesy of a great deal of wood from Havwoods.
