What we have learnt…
Imperfection: Raised access floors as a substrate can often be dented and damaged in places leading to an uneven surface. Many existing magnetic flooring solutions require an almost perfect substrate.
Configuration: Spaces can be complex and also require re-lifting and re-fitting to accommodate internal reconfigurations.
Accessibility: Uneven ramps and access ways lead to slopes and transitions between a solid substrate and the raised access which gives points of vulnerability.
Usage impact: Heavy trolleys or heavy footfall can cause minor movement which in turn can lead to lipping on some magnetic flooring solutions.

Magna 2.0 Hatch boards
Did you know?
"Hatch boards" are three boards aligned without a tongue, identifiable by a small metal circle in the top corner, as shown in the image.
These Hatch boards serve as a starting point for easily lifting the surrounding boards.
For optimal effectiveness, it is recommended to place one hatch location every 10 square meters.
However, the placement is entirely up to you. Most clients prefer to position them in areas that require frequent access.
