Aldgate Tower, a high-profile office building in the capital, required an aesthetic wood floor solution to enhance its ground floor lobby. Part of a wider renovation, the brief was to revitalise the entrance space to create an inclusive yet inviting environment for office workers and guests that matched its vibrant surroundings.
The 5,000 square foot ground floor, which should have been a social hub for interaction and collaboration, was under-utilised and lacking clear purpose therefore the re-fit was vital in order to attract prospective tenants and to support a range of typologies.
Selected for this project was End Grain Nature from Havwoods’ Henley collection. A durable choice, the engineered European oak benefits from inherent natural texture, which only adds to the plank’s unique visual appeal.
An ideal choice for a bustling lobby, the luxurious boards create a seamless flow across the ground floor, whilst also helping to zone the reception desks.
