The 24-hour, 365-day-a-year concept developed by American company Anytime Fitness clearly reflects 21st Century lifestyles, since they have become the world’s largest health chain in just 13 years. Introduced into Australia in 2008 by brother and sister team Justin and Jacinta McDonell, the continent now enjoys well over 400 clubs and it is both Australia’s biggest health chain and the largest group of Anytime clubs outside of the USA. Not surprisingly the rapidly growing numbers of staff has meant a brand new head office in Sydney.

Designed by the in-house teams who usually assist new franchisees, the space features a neutral palette and lots of natural- toned timber, with a character grade brushed and matt lacquered Midi product on the floors and a similarly toned brushed select grade oversized herringbone as feature walls. Australia have rapidly embraced the herringbone pattern, often with a twist by using it on the walls, or even the ceiling.
