Located in the picturesque and rural county of Lancashire, this beautiful barn underwent a conversion that aimed to preserve the property’s heritage and create a comfortable bedroom suite with a Scandinavian feel.
The brief was to achieve a relaxed and welcoming space where guests can comfortably relax and retreat. The original ceiling was removed to enhance the sense of space within the room and to expose the original brickwork of the property.
Havwoods’ Boreas Rustic boards have been used across the ceiling to create a reclaimed and rural look, while the white limewashed surface brings a textured aspect.
Perfectly complementing this, the Rhyl Rustic Strip boards have been installed on the floors to further enhance the country aesthetic. The smoky grey finish offers a light and airy feel, working harmoniously with the neutral colour palette used within the scheme.
Alongside soft textured seating, faux fur cushions and earthy colours, the perfect retreat has been attained, delivering a space that visitors will never want to leave.
