Contemporary and serene, this loft bedroom project is a truly idyllic retreat. Interior designer Agne Bickaite of Blue Interiors London, was given a brief to create a space where you feel wrapped up in the moment, with an aesthetic that needed to be cosy, light and slightly different. Conversion completed by Amber Lofts LTD.
Incorporating dusky pink walls and light wood accents from Havwoods as the leading elements, the space is soft and inviting, enveloping the room in warmth and elegance. Functional storage was key to the overall design so Blue Interiors London had to create smart solutions that were suitable for the challenging shape of the space.
The team installed built-in wardrobes, sleek shelving and concealed cabinets, paired with practical downlights which reflect the beautiful flooring which runs throughout.
The space is a great example of how to use Havwoods’ diverse range of timber surface solutions in tandem. In the bedroom and on the landing, Havwoods’ Columba Select 90mm Chevron flooring from the Italian Collection was specified for its contemporary pattern and Platinum colourway, adding natural beauty, texture and brightness to the room.
