Situated in the rolling green hills of the Lake District lies Havwoods’ latest project – the exceptional Coniston House. This beautiful residential property is a highly bespoke new build house on the outskirts of Coniston, offering a luxurious living space designed for a range of guests.
The design brief was to create a modern, highly efficient four-bedroom house with spacious living accommodation for family use, and also for the flexibility of holiday rental purposes. With this concept in mind, the house also needed to be accessible and suitable for disabled occupation.
In keeping with the high-specification finish, Havwoods was chosen as the preferred supplier for the wood flooring within selected areas of the home. The Fendi board was chosen from the Design From Havwoods collection, for its exceptional herringbone pattern and beautiful European Oak finish.
The designer used the Fendi board in the lounge and on the staircase, to create an effortless flow from one space to the next, and from one level to the next. Now, Coniston House provides a contemporary living space and guest accommodation, featuring high-specification finishes and carefully planned detailing throughout. Traditional materials and forms are combined with more modern construction methods and styles for a truly spectacular property.
