When Christina Reed of Christina Reed Interiors was first invited to inspect this harbour front apartment, she referred to it as a ‘beige box’ due to the floors and walls predominately all of a beige colour tone. Constructed over 15 years ago, the interiors were dated and uninspiring and in dire need of a refresh.

The client’s brief called for interiors that were glamorous to suit the location and accentuate the amazing views, coupled with the practicality of finishes suitable for their young children.

The owners would also be entertaining both their clients and guests and so to combine both business and family life, wanted to add warmth and character throughout, both of which were previously lacking in the home. The incorporation of timber flooring was at the top of the clients wish list.

Christina Reed selected Havwoods HW16602 Notte timber flooring in the Chevron pattern from The Italian Collection, to bring warmth, character and timeless sophistication to the design. The client was soon sold on the chevron pattern and the Notte colour with its rich tones and the design for the apartment evolved from the flooring up.

The result is this stunning, sophisticated and stylish apartment that exceeded the clients expectations and delivered them the home of their dreams.
