The Zephyr reclaimed solid wood veneers from Havwoods were chosen to supply the flooring at GAIL’s bakery in Worthing.

For a chain of renowned bakeries situated in affluent neighborhoods and cities nationwide, the flooring had to meet two critical criteria: exceptional durability to handle high foot traffic and an aesthetic that aligns with the brand’s artisanal charm. The client sought a design solution that would seamlessly balance function and style, ensuring the space remained inviting and timeless. To achieve this, vertical planks were selected for their rustic appeal, perfectly reflecting the essence of GAIL’s brand, rooted in traditional artisan baking. The 7mm-thick flooring offers the resilience necessary for bustling bakery environments, while the warm honey-coloured finish creates a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The project utilised Lorn from the H Collection for the flooring, chosen for its robust construction and natural beauty. Complementing this, Zephyr from the Vertical Collection was applied to the walls, enhancing the overall ambiance with its refined texture.
