Located on the shores of the quaint Island of Mull in Scotland, Glensforsa Cafe and Farm Shop can be discovered. Radiating character throughout, the harmonious blend of the dark smoked flooring adds a sleek modern touch to this homely and snug shop.
Wanting to break free of the new polished aesthetic, designers Burns Design selected Havwoods to supply the flooring. The Jutland 13 Planks from the Henley Collection were chosen, providing both texture and smoky grey tones, whilst showcasing the beauty in repurposed reclaimed wood.
Warm and welcoming, the grey colourway of the flooring catches the Scottish light beautifully, creating a cosy and calming effect, perfect for the farm shop. Interior-wise, the dark oak furnishings and wooden ceiling beams complement the floor beautifully, as well as the green interior elements and plants contributing to the room’s natural earthy feel. Soothing and relaxing, the flooring is a perfect match for this environment, where guests are welcome to enjoy, dine and socialise.
