The Montreux Jazz Cafe concept was originally created to offer a warm and friendly place where artists and music lovers could mingle, opening in London’s iconic Harrods department store after successful launches in Geneva and Zurich. This 2500 square feet space was divided into three areas with the emphasis on “intimacy, music and relaxation”: the idea being to reproduce the ambience of the famous jazz festival whilst harmonising with Harrods’ luxury atmosphere.
