A contemporary property with an industrial edge, due to its location in a former docklands warehouse, the 2-bedroom New Crane project brings a fresh new take to modern living.
The brief of the renovation was to bring the home up-to-date, adding characterful detailing and plenty of light to suit the requests of the modern homeowner.
With help from Havwoods’ beautiful Columba Select Boards from The Italian Collection, the designer chose these planks to complement the light and airy aesthetic that has been created throughout the property.
The soft undertones of the wood contrast beautifully with the darker details such as the black-framed windows, ceilings lights and white-painted industrial brick wall.
The ever-popular herringbone pattern enhances the sense of space, helping to reflect light around the room whilst adding plenty of interest underfoot. Used across the living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom, the result is a coordinated scheme that can be paired with almost any interior design aesthetic.
