Contemporary and serene, this loft bedroom project is a truly idyllic retreat. Interior designer Agne Bickaite of Blue Interiors London, was given a brief to create a space where you feel wrapped up in the moment, with an aesthetic that needed to be cosy, light and slightly different.
Complementing the flooring in this Loft Conversion is Havwoods’ innovative timber sheets from the Elegante collection which have been installed on the walls by the staircase and landing – part of the brand’s collection of timber surfaces that go beyond the floor.
The homeowner opted for the Oak Costato sheets with a square edge profile, made from sustainable reconstituted veneer from Ayous trees. With a modern, fluted design, the tactile sheets have been finished in a soft honey colour, replicating the warm tones of the flooring, while the detailed grooving casts intricate shadows which all add to the cosiness of the loft space.
Suitable for multiple applications including walls, ceilings, curves and cabinetry, the Elegante collection is meticulously milled and adds beauty and intrigue to vertical spaces.
