Located in Southbourne, Dorset, these two new builds exude contemporary living, offering homeowners a blank canvas to add their own personality to.
The property developers of these two light and airy kitchens opted for neutral-coloured walls and near-identical bespoke wooden flooring from Havwoods, to give them a flow of consistency. Havwoods’ HW2303 Arene Classic flooring is a hard-wearing option, which spans the entire kitchen and conjoining utility room. The direction of the planks contributes to the feeling of a much larger space. The first home features a colourful and inviting green kitchen, whilst the second home features a moodier yet striking charcoal colour.
Both spaces offer a charming blend of wood and ceramic surfaces, with well-positioned windows and sliding terrace doors offering plenty of natural light. The green kitchen features Havwoods’ flooring positioned in vertical lines, which helps to create the impression of a longer room, whilst the second kitchen features horizontal planks, giving the impression of a wider space. Wicker bar stools and pendant lighting help to frame the focal kitchen island, whilst the wood panelling gives the space some texture. The gold accents seen in the pendants, cabinet handles and sink tap offer a contemporary yet warm finish.
