Product Spotlight: End Grain
27 Mar 2020
End grain is the grain of wood seen when it is cut across the growth rings. Rather than cutting a plank of wood the length of the trunk, end grain wood is cut at a 90-degree angle to the grain.
This type of cut exposes the character of the wood rings and graining and as with a chopping block, the surface of an end-grain tile is incredibly tough and durable. Our end-grain collection boards are all glued to a backing, to ensure a more stable engineered floor. We are proud to introduce 16 new colours to this range.
