Our genuine reclaimed planks are engineered to 21st century tolerances and are designed to be used on floors, walls, ceilings but can also be used on doors, furniture and even lighting. These stunning products each have a unique and storied history and are suitable for installation everywhere from private residences to restaurants or commerical premises. Due to their engineered ply construction they may be installed over underfloor heating. Note: Some products are supplied unfinished and will require a final sanding and finish on site.

Relik embraces all Havwoods’ ever more popular collection of reclaimed timbers under one brand. Sourced from two different mills, one British owned and one Dutch, it includes reproduction as well as genuine reclaimed products, and a herringbone block as well as planks.
The unique appearance of reclaimed timber drives demand, yet this very lack of uniformity traditionally leads to difficult installation and high levels of wastage. Problems with reliable supplies can also make it a high risk specification. To solve this dilemma all of our Havwoods’ Relik range are actually pre-finished engineered products. This makes better use of the finite resources of timber reclaimed from barns, quays, docks, etc, and results in easy to fit boards which are so stable they may even be used over underfloor heating.
The reproduction reclaimed products are so good that we've now doubled the range. Sawing, scraping, brushing, oiling makes them works of art for the floor and a weathering process which not only makes them look genuinely lived-in, it also makes them extra tough since it strips out the soft tissues between the grain. As with all oiled products we recommend an additional coat after installation.
