Step into an elevated Indian dining room featured in the Toronto Michelin Guide. The design team used a palette of traditional and modern elements to match the authenticity of the cuisine.
Adrak Yorkville has quickly become a favorite amongst locals and has been selected by the Michelin Guide to prove it. Upon entering, you are greeted by a grandiose sculpture of Ganesha, which is believed to bring prosperity and wisdom. Our Ferro Herringbone wood floors run through this entire dining room creating the perfect foundation.
When designing the interior of the restaurant, it was important to create an inviting space that felt familiar, which prompted an interior design palette mixing traditional and modern elements. Creating a light and thoughtful nod to fine Indian architecture and style.
To match the aura of the restaurant, the design team at Dialogue38 were drawn to our Ferro Herringbone. The clean symmetry and neutral color palette worked in harmony with fabrics and wallpaper that were imported from India, matching the authenticity of the cuisine. Details of handmade wood and rattan fill the space complementing the natural wood (oak) that is also native to the Indian Himalayas.
A private dining room hides on the second floor, setting the tone for celebratory dinners. The pattern of the herringbone wood floor guides you to a pink and beige stone wall. The natural dark shade with grey undertones punctuates the back wall of the room.
