This British family home recently underwent a complete refurbishment and ground floor extension in order to create an open plan, connected living space for all to enjoy.
The design brief was to create a modern interior scheme that would suit the client’s lifestyle. Havwoods was selected to provide a hardwearing yet stylish wood floor solution that would withstand heavy footfall from the family and their two dogs.
Amalgama Herringbone, from The Italian Collection, was specified for this project, the engineered herringbone block exudes a timeless appeal and allows for a seamless flow between zones.
With its stunning light wood coloring and UV oiled finish, these durable blocks perfectly complement the interior scheme without compromising on functionality. Used across the ground floor to retain cohesion, the beautiful herringbone pattern helps to create a feeling of space - maximizing the available natural light and helping to accentuate the seamless transition between living zones.
