Situated in the rolling green hills of Northern England sits the exceptional Coniston House. This beautiful residential property is a highly bespoke new build house offering a luxurious farmhose-influenced living space.
The design brief was to create a modern barn conversion; a highly efficient four-bedroom house with spacious living accommodation for family use, and also for the flexibility of holiday rental purposes. With this concept in mind, the house also needed to be accessible and suitable for disabled occupation.
In keeping with the high-specification finish, Havwoods was chosen as the preferred supplier for the wood flooring within selected areas of the home. Fendi herringbone was chosen from the Venture Plank collection, for its exceptional finish and unique color variation.
The designer used Fendi living room and on the staircase, to create an effortless flow from one space to the next, and from one level to the next. The Coniston House is a contemporary living space but the wooden beams, steel frames and barn-like features give it the modern farmhouse style. Traditional materials and forms are combined with more modern construction methods and styles for a truly spectacular property.
