An original Chelsea townhouse located in the heart of London, the Markham Street project has been beautifully transformed into a contemporary yet classic interior that honours and complements the property’s original charm.
The brief was to reflect the home’s fashionable location just off the King’s Road and create a striking and design-led property that buyers will fall in love with.
Celebrating the natural beauty of wood, Havwoods’ Fendi 12 Prime engineered boards were selected for their high-quality appeal, detailed texture and firmness underfoot - the perfect flooring for this luxurious yet functional three-bedroom townhouse.
The designers at Furniche London wanted to help increase the feeling of space in the home, especially in the narrower hallway and kitchen, so introduced clever flooring designs by positioning the planks diagonally.
The textured boards have been used throughout the property - from the bedrooms to the home office and open-plan kitchen diner - creating a harmonious and cohesive flow from top to bottom. The light-coloured hues perfectly complement the understated colours and classic patterns, resulting in an interior that is both elegant and timeless.
