Mastani Retail Store, Melbourne

The design of the 1000 sqf. Melbourne boutique is underpinned by qualities of strength and beauty providing a confident and layered environment to showcase the collection. A sense of craftsmanship translates from the product into the store; the journey is punctuated by considered and carefully edited detail throughout. 

The material palette is focused on a nuanced collection of soft textural hues, with depth and weight added through wood, stone and carefully selected color accents including a series of custom colored ombré glass panels. Made in Europe, Havwoods Pallido from the Italian Collection provided the base for the layering of tonal and textural details while complementing the overall palette.

Inspired by the intricate floors of Italy, the italian collection is comprised of narrower, thinner planks, chevron and herringbone blocks which provide more flexibility for laying in complex patterns or mixing with tiles in other materials.
