Savoy Towers is the kind of working environment perfect for start-ups, events and digital media companies, remote workers, freelancers and consultants.
Bringing life to the centre of Glasgow, local company Clockwise has taken a 1960s high-rise tower and made it over to provide a 2020s workspace solution – these contemporary private offices and shared workspaces are specifically aimed at the demand for flexible hot-desking, co-working and serviced offices. It’s the kind of working environment perfect for start-ups, events and digital media companies, remote workers, freelancers and consultants.
Designed by C2 Concepts, specialist workspace designers, the brief was to create a flexible and creative work environment to suit multiple work styles, with soft-seating lounge areas, a café, an outdoor terrace, large conference and meeting rooms, quiet escapes and private phone booths providing an opportune environment in which a rich network of contacts can collaborate, all in the one space.
Given the harsh demands and financial restrictions of such an application, C2 had intended to specify a vinyl. But they were impressed by the Fusion concept and fully converted after seeing samples. Eventually they opted for two shades, providing definition for the break out spaces, and nearly 12,000 sq metres of product were held in stock for them, allowing for multiple deliveries in accordance with the build schedule.
