Magna Raised Access Flooring
Introducing Magna® - Raising the bar on Raised Access flooring
How does it work?
Raised access flooring offers considerable practical benefits in commercial premises, and you can now enjoy all the spectacular design advantages of a Havwoods’ tongue and grove engineered wood floor in a superior magnetic raised access flooring system.
With over forty years experience in supplying quality wood flooring, at Havwoods we identified very specific requirements for any raised access system we put our name to. It had to work with tongue and grove boards to ensure that any danger of stepping, where the planks pop up, is eliminated. It had to incorporate a better method of blocking air flowing from under the floor than those currently utilized. And it also had to incorporate a method to ensure that the wood planks wouldn’t squeak. Magna is the result of our research.
We have three pre-finished Magna floor products but, any Havwoods’ Venture Plank, Henley, Relik, plank can be customized to utilize our Magna raised access flooring system technology. That’s almost 150 different planks from stock, and includes a huge range of both smooth and textured finishes, reclaimed wood, and oak with a wear layer which is 60% harder than traditional planks. You can choose from prime, select, character and rustic grades, in oiled, UV oiled or lacquered finishes, and amongst planks ranging from traditional-looking 5" (125mm) widths right up to 10" (260mm" wide contemporary giants, or even the mixed widths of a stunning reclaimed wood floor.
Magna flooring reduces downtime for refurbishments, being 90% quicker to install than using glue or underlay, and can be sanded and maintained just like any other Havwoods’ floor. Individual planks or entire areas can be removed and replaced exceptionally easily, thanks to the magnetized system which carries a lifetime guarantee.
So if you’re looking for raised access flooring with a beautiful wood surface, without doubt Magna is the only place you ever need to look. Get in touch to see what the lead times for your project may be!
